Season of Creation resources for September 2011

[edit- no waycould it be September already! i didnt get to update the 2011 resources, but we are back pretty much to the 2008 themes, so hopefully the following is still helpful.]

The Season of Creation is over for 2010, but I've started reposting the 2011 resources (same themes as 2008).

These resources will, I hope, encourage churches to fulfill God's mandate to us, to serve the reconciliation and renewal of all creation (Uniting Church Basis of Union ch3)

These liturgies and songs aim to be a little less formal, and draw more on Uniting Church resources than the original resources, featured at www.seasonofcreation.com, The original site remains well worth a visit to get a handle on what the whole project is about, and some visual resources.

They also provide some progressive/evolution affirming options, and a generic communion service which can be used on any week.

There are online as well as powerpoint versions of the liturgies, feel free to pick and choose anything which is helpful.

If they are useful, feel free to use them, and please let me know what you think. "Generic" liturgies are really hard to prepare, I've found, but hopefully they are at least useful springboards!
