FAITH. ON EARTH (2010) . Connecting faith and ecology through our heart, mind, soul and stomach

It's all over now, but this is pretty much what we did...

You are welcome to come to some or all of the program, but we ask you to be on time, and to stay for the whole session (shaded blocks below).  Also, “creation spirituality”, and “life centred theology” are units, so we ask that you come to both sessions where possible.

 

Friday 6pm Dinner at Guru foods (vegetarian, mostly local and organic meals)
  Watch the tens of thousands of fruit bats take off for the night
7:30-9:30 Meet at St Andrews
  Songs and film snippets plus group reflection on them
   
Saturday   
8am optional brekkie and wandering around the monthly market 
9:30am meet at St Andrews 
  Creativity & food preparation (start on the bread for dinner)
10-am-12pm creation spirituality 1     (4 paths, 3 vocations, 2 stances and the only prayer)
  Weaving the soul (creativity and song), mind (input from Matt Henry) and heart (group work)
12-2pm lunch: a long luxurious one in town, or get in a swim at the river as well.
2-4pm creation spirituality 2
4:30 - 6:30  Northbank Community Garden (100 Northbank Rd) 
  Food and Faith: Input from Shana Henry, wandering, harvesting in the garden; making dinner
7pm bat watching, swimming, whatever... 
  planning ecofaith for those who want to contribute something tomorrow
Sunday   
8am optional brekkie in town.
10 - 11:30 regular ecofaith gathering in Bellingen Park, followed by morning tea 
11:30 - 12:30 St Andrews, life centred theology 1 weaving the soul, mind (input from Jason John) and heart.
12:30 - 2 lunch
2-4pm Life centred theology 2:  some practical applications

4pm closing ritual 
5ish a meal together somewhere in town
6:30pm Transition Bellingen movie in council park  (St Andrews if wet): The Yes Men fix the world
