Easter resources useful in congegations are coming!!

Meanwhile here's a letter which critiques the whole idea of the atoning sacrifice in Jewish and later Christian thought, and a long extract from a book I'm hoping I've nearly finished, "Worshipping Evolution's God." This section recounts exploring Easter through the eyes of animals and the God who loves them, and finds that Jesus' understanding of atonement or forgiveness is quite different from the "butchered for the sake of others" theme we often hear.
